What Makes Us Unique
Every company differs in the way they advertise, how they manage and service their customers and personnel, etc. We rely very heavily on BBB advertising and referrals. We are a ‘Father and Son’ company that carefully researches the background and work history of it’s trades people. We offer quality products, services, and transferable LIFETIME warranties.
We’re big believers in the value of proper underlayment prior to the installation of the
actual roofing product (s), and having good attic ventilation in place upon completion of the new roof. Installation of roofing products without underlayment protection and proper attic ventilation is one of the primary causes of leaks, ceiling stains, weakened and/or rotted roof decking & structural supports, shortened roofing product life.
Our Platinum Roofing Package is roofing excellence:
- We ensure that the underlayment is done right by having the old roof removed, and the underlayment in place BEFORE we send out the roofing products and installer(s). We then inspect the roof to ensure that it‟s watertight, and we also inspect the grounds for proper yard clean-up.
- Our roofing installers are carefully selected, and we monitor all installation to ensure that our high standards are met. Each facet of the new roof installation is carefully inspected before the next phase is initialized. Photographic records accompany each inspection report.
- We will meet with you upon satisfactory roof inspection, to fill out and hand you the LIFETIME (50 years) written & fully transferable warranty.
All of our trades people are covered by Worker‟s Compensation Insurance, and we carry full liability insurance to protect you against any damages to your home and/or property should an accident occur.
When a home renovation involves ‘moving walls’, and/or replacing ceilings and adding pot lights, it’s very important to seal the inside area completely with a good interior wrap. Standard interior sealing is 4 or 6 mil poly and sealing tape at joints, light fixtures, etc.
Failure to 100% seal-off the interior from the attic and exterior walls will result in humid 80 degree inside air leaking into the frigid exterior temperature areas causing water vapour to condense on everything! Hoar frost and ice build-up can result in a water event occurring in your attic and/or interior walls.
This happens because of poor training and/or ignorance of trades people performing renovation work. Today’s renovation climate is one in which house flippers, home owners ‘doing their own reno’, and even licensed contractors who should have the properly licensed/supervised workers are cutting corners to save a buck.
It is so important to have proper ‘eaves-to-ridge venting’ when having a roof replaced to ensure that moist attic air is moving and/or being readily replaced. This may not be the best solution to attic condensation problems, but it will definitely alleviate this problem.
